After filtering through my ideas, I landed on three main logo concepts. One with a cowboy hat & a rope font, one with a cowboy boot, and one with a chicken made of fire. I ended up going with the third idea because it was more unique for a hot sauce company. I pushed myself to create a more exciting storyline with this chicken than with a more cliche western idea.
Final Logo
After messing around with line weight, typography placement, colors, and white space, I finally completed my ideal chicken-on-fire, chili sauce logo. This is definitely my favorite logo I've designed!
Flavor Ads
On top of the logo creation, I went forward with three sauce bottle designs for the three flavors. I included some illustrated icons for the flavors and placed them into poster ads. Of course I needed to play around with the chicken concept in my copy to keep things on brand.
