Mullett Arena Concept

This is my take on a logo concept for the ASU Sun Devils Hockey team. Their new arena had just opened and they were looking for a logo that played with both hockey and the arena's new name, while maintaining the ASU brand. Since it's called The Mullett Arena, I took the route of turning a mullet into hockey sticks. I had to make sure the man I was designing looked like a mullet belonged on him, so I added sideburns and a thick 'stache to go along with it. Think if Tom Selleck had Billy Ray Cyrus's 1994 mullet. Iconic, right?
